Learning Objectives:

  • Understand the concept of long exposure photography and its creative potential.

  • Master camera settings necessary for capturing long exposures (shutter speed, aperture, ISO).

  • Explore the use of neutral density filters or IR filters to control light intake during long exposures.

  • Learn techniques for achieving sharp images during long exposures (tripod usage, Using flash to freeze subject).

Materials:

  • DSLR or mirrorless cameras with manual controls

  • Tripods (essential for long exposures)

  • Neutral density filters (graduated and/or solid ND filters, recommended)
